COVID-19/MEMBER VISITS


The risk of infection from the coronavirus outbreak has increased as the rate of infection rises in our community. For the safety of the Fund Office staff, our members and their families, we have made the difficult decision to limit visitor access to the Fund Office until the outbreak subsides. We ask that members call the office (708) 562-0200 for assistance. We will try our hardest to answer questions over the telephone. If it is determined that an on-site meeting is required, we will make an appointment to eliminate the member’s waiting time. The meeting will be limited to the member and one other person and will be conducted in a separate interview room via telephone.

Any visitor exhibiting signs of illness will not be allowed into the office. Members who wish to apply for their pension should send an email to pension@chilpwf.com or call (708) 562-0200, extension 530 indicating their intention to retire. We will send an application package to the member and will be available by telephone to assist with the completion of the application forms. Notices of this change will be posted on our front doors, website and telephone messaging system. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to returning to business as usual once the outbreak subsides.
